Deactivating an Admin User
Deactivating an Admin User
Scenario: Brand new Org. The user that the Org was set up as needs to be deactivated. What is it going to take to extract that user from all the things that it needs to be extracted from in order to Deactiavate it.
I HOPE this is going to be easier than it would be for an org that has been going for many years - I don't think I would tackle that.
Method: Go to User, Edit it, Uncheck Active, Save. Deal with the warning message. Rinse. Repeat. Each numbered point is each time this process had to be done.
- Remove the user as the default Web to Lead User
- Remove the user as the default Lead Owner
Wow! That was it? Cool! I have had all sorts of problems trying to disable a regular user that had been given Sysadmin privileges incorrectly on an older org. This is good to know.
