Assuredly Assets

Assets is a new feature in Assuredly and it allows you to keep track of technology, hardware, software, security and any other Assets that relate to your assessments. Don’t track Assets in here if you have another place to track them, as there isn’t a lot of benefit to tracking them here, it is just like an Excel Spreadsheet, but you will have more flexibility in an Excel spreadsheet.

Assets can also be used to track Information Assets. Don’t track information Assets in Assuredly if you have somewhere else to track them, such as you have a data categorisation feature in your CRM System.

Tips

• Don’t forget to name the Asset, you can’t edit or delete the asset without a Name.

  • If like me, you do this, then export your Assets, grab the ID, and enter the ID in the URL to get to the Asset record directly.

  • The reason this happened is that the name is tricky to enter if you don’t Autofill the name. Don’t press enter, or it will blank the name. Click NEXT immediately.

• Don’t import Assets that already exist, they will be duplicated.

• You don’t need to enter an Owner

• Create meaningful groups for you.
